"The Brandon Begin signature Merritt BFE pc peg is designed to last longer than other plastic pegs. The core is made out of 4140 chromoly that is milled down to be light and take a beating from street. It fits 14mm or 3/8" axles with the adapter to fit any style of bicycle. The Sleeve is injection molded out of a special PA blend of plastic to last longer than other pegs on the market. They come in a extra long 4.75" length and a 36mm diameter to give it the right thickness. The sleeve has a steel washer to the sleeve longevity and by keep it secure to your frame dropout. This is a replacement sleeve. When your original pegs sleeves wear out you use these to replace your outer peg sleeve and turn and old peg into a new one. Select the size peg sleeve that fits your peg. Make sure your original peg is a Merritt GFE peg. You can not interchange between brands/models of pegs. All brands and model pegs sleeves have different inner diameter based on the core. Purchase the brand/model of pegs you have to replace the sleeves of your pegs."
