Q: What brakes fit my bike?
A: If the brake post are on the top chain stays/underneath chain stays or on top of the seat stays and DO NOT have 3 little holes at the base of the post it is cantilever. If the post are on top/underneath seat stays and have little holes they are V-brakes. If they are the top of the chain stays/underneath the seat stays and do not have little holes they are 990 brakes. If they do not have any post and the chain stay bridge or seat stay bridge have a hole they are caliper brakes. If the left rear side of the frame has a plate with two holes you have disc brakes.
